Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola stated that Florian Wirtz's ankle injury does not appear serious following his substitution during a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. The German midfielder went down in the 65th minute at Anfield before being replaced by Trey Nyoni, having earlier played a key role in Liverpool's opening goal.
Wirtz will undergo a medical assessment ahead of a busy schedule featuring upcoming fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal. Liverpool are currently managing several squad absences, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Jeremie Frimpong, and Victor Munoz already sidelined.
