Preview: Former Avs Colton, Drury Set to Face Colorado for First Time in Nashville

Former Colorado Avalanche forwards Ross Colton and Jack Drury will face their previous team for the first time on Sunday evening. The Nashville Predators host Colorado at Bridgestone Arena, marking the initial reunion for both players and former Colorado GM Chris MacFarland since their offseason departures. Colorado enters the matchup looking to build momentum following a 6-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning, while Nashville holds a 3-3-4 record through 10 games.

Both players were moved in separate offseason deals, with Colton traded in a cost-cutting move and Drury dealt after turning down multiple contract offers. The contest also features a goaltending showdown between Scott Wedgewood and former Avalanche netminder Justus Annunen, who were involved in a series of trades that reshuffled both teams' goaltending depth.
