NFL teams are reportedly expected to ramp up trade calls to the Jacksonville Jaguars regarding wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr ahead of the upcoming trade deadline. Although the Jaguars have shown no signs of engaging in discussions, Thomas's reduced role has fueled speculation across the league, particularly after he sat out the second half against the Houston Texans.
Thomas has seen his playing time diminish behind Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Josh Cameron this season. Selected 23rd overall in the 2024 draft, Thomas is in the third year of his rookie contract and has recorded nine receptions for 105 yards and one touchdown through six games in 2026.
