Luka Doncic scored 52 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out 10 assists to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 132-123 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday. Despite overcoming an 18-point deficit, Doncic issued a warning postgame, stating that the team learned its lesson and cannot afford slow starts moving forward.
The Lakers recovered behind a 45-24 second quarter, which included 15 points in the period from Austin Reaves, who finished with 29 points overall. Head coach JJ Redick noted the team was not ready early, while late fourth-quarter 3-pointers from Doncic secured the comeback win.
