The Orlando Magic have been searching for their defensive identity and their way to win. They found it in a fourth quarter rout of the New York Knicks.

The Orlando Magic secured their first victory under head coach Sean Sweeney with a 111-102 comeback win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Franz Wagner scored 21 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter as Orlando outscored New York 40-27 in the final frame to overturn an early deficit.
Desmond Bane added 22 points, while Tristan da Silva and Anthony Black contributed 19 and 18 points respectively. The win was tempered by a late injury to Jalen Suggs, whose knee buckled on a fast-break layup attempt with around two minutes remaining.
