The Toronto Raptors announced that forward Kawhi Leonard was ruled out ahead of Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Leonard was designated as a late scratch due to swelling in his left knee prior to the matchup at the Target Center.
Leonard had previously recorded 16 points and nine rebounds in a 112-102 win over the Washington Wizards before Toronto fell 117-94 to Minnesota. He rejoined Toronto earlier following a trade with the LA Clippers for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, and multiple draft picks.
