Ajax have reportedly opened negotiations with Wolverhampton Wanderers to make the transfer of striker Tolu Arokodare permanent. The 25-year-old Nigeria international joined the Dutch club on a season-long loan deal in July, which includes an option to buy. Following an impressive run of form where he scored nine goals in 14 matches, Ajax are working to finalize a permanent agreement, with the player's camp open to the move.

Discussions over the financial terms remain ongoing, as Ajax reportedly do not intend to pay more than €25m for the striker.
