New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh revealed that Abdul Carter gave a halftime speech to fire up the team during their Week 7 win over the Houston Texans.

New York Giants defensive lineman Abdul Carter stepped up as an on-field leader during the team's 27-21 overtime victory against the Houston Texans in Week 7. Head coach John Harbaugh revealed that Carter delivered an impassioned halftime speech urging his teammates to empty the tank. Carter also made a crucial impact on the field, generating eight pressures, including a key third-down quarterback pressure in overtime against C.J. Stroud.
The leadership display comes as New York faces significant injury adversity, having lost defensive captains Brian Burns and Tremaine Edmunds to season-ending injuries. Alongside Carter, linebacker Micah McFadden filled in admirably with 10 solo tackles and two tackles for loss. Running back Devin Singletary eventually sealed the overtime victory with a 30-yard touchdown run.
