Several Pakistan cricketers, including T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan, face an uncertain wait after their no-objection certificates were reportedly placed on hold by the PCB.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly placed no-objection certificates on hold for several Pakistani cricketers set to feature in Season 3 of the Nepal Premier League. Affected players include T20I captain Sahibzada Farhan, Haider Ali, Hunain Shah, Hussain Talat, Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Usama Mir, leaving their tournament participation in doubt as matches begin in Kathmandu.
Reports suggest the PCB requested around USD 25,000 per cricketer in exchange for issuing an NOC, though this demand has not been confirmed in writing. None of the seven affected players are currently in Pakistan's Test or ODI squads, and the tournament running from October 26 to November 21 does not conflict with national assignments.
