Sheffield United played out a 1-1 draw with Derby County on Saturday, and absent from the matchday squad was Ryan One.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder confirmed that young striker Ryan One missed Saturday's 1-1 draw against Derby County due to an injury setback in training. Wilder revealed the 20-year-old felt an issue and was sent for a scan. The manager expressed disappointment at missing One's phenomenal pace, especially after Patrick Bamford scored an equalizer but was injured in the process.
Injuries have restricted One to just 40 minutes of action during the 2026/27 season following a successful loan spell at Lincoln City last term. James Ray notes that One's ability to stay fit in the coming months will likely dictate whether the Blades keep him or explore another loan move.
