Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero has offered his own recovery timeline after suffering a right high ankle sprain against Minnesota.

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero revealed on Sunday, October 25, that he expects to miss "at least a month" due to a right high ankle sprain. The 23-year-old sustained the injury during Friday's 115-93 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves and was seen wearing a protective boot during morning shootaround in New York ahead of the team's matchup against the New York Knicks.
An MRI confirmed the diagnosis of a low-grade high ankle sprain, which typically requires a recovery timeline of four to six weeks. With Banchero sidelined indefinitely, head coach Sean Sweeney and the winless Magic will look to Franz Wagner and Desmond Bane to carry the offensive load.
