Man Utd were thrashed for the second time in a week and the players were booed off after they were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick revealed he opted not to address the squad collectively regarding fans booing them off following a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth. The loss marked United's second heavy defeat in a week and extended their winless streak to eight matches. Carrick stated that while he heard the negative reaction from the tunnel and spoke to individual players, he felt the post-match dressing room was too emotional for a group discussion.
While Carrick received personal backing from the Stretford End, supporters voiced anger toward the players and aimed critical chants at club leadership, including the Glazers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, and director of football Jason Wilcox. Carrick acknowledged having mixed emotions about the fan support given the team's difficult form, while declining to comment on whether silent executives like Wilcox and chief executive Omar Berrada should publicly address the fans.
