The Atlanta Braves have a number of injured players whose prognosis is decidedly unclear heading into the 2027 season, although there are some clues.

The Atlanta Braves face several injury questions across their pitching staff entering the 2026-27 offseason. Hurston Waldrep is not expected to pitch in 2027 following September Tommy John surgery. Spencer Strider has missed time since June due to elbow inflammation, while Spencer Schwellenbach required surgery to insert a screw into a broken elbow in August, leaving their statuses uncertain.
Bryce Elder is expected to be ready for spring training following knee surgery, while Reynaldo Lopez continues to deal with a persistent throwing shoulder issue. Joey Wentz is recovering from a torn ACL, and free agents Joe Jimenez and Martin Perez are working through knee and back injuries, respectively.
