Reid pitched four scoreless innings, yielding only one hit while striking out five batters to improve his season record to 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA for the Mesa Solar Sox.
The Mesa Solar Sox posted a 2-3 record in their third full week of action, bringing their overall mark to 6-9. Other Cubs prospects featured include reliever Luis Rujano, who pitched a scoreless bases-loaded jam, and outfielder Kade Snell, who drove in three runs across four appearances.
