AJ Dybantsa broke his silence on his delayed NBA debut with an optimistic social media post after the Wizards ruled him out against Charlotte.

Washington Wizards rookie AJ Dybantsa shared an optimistic update on Threads following his team ruling him out for Monday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. The No. 1 overall pick stated that waiting "a few more days ain't nothing" as he continues to recover from a left ankle sprain sustained in preseason action.
Wizards head coach Brian Keefe described Dybantsa as day-to-day, noting on October 26 that the 19-year-old is progressing positively and doing more on-court work. Washington has not officially cleared Dybantsa, leaving his status uncertain for upcoming games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Hornets.
