Through the first week of the NBA season, everything is rosy for the Portland Trail Blazers in Rip City. It’s been only two games against non-marquee opponents, but the Blazers are undefeated, registering a dominant beatdown of the Phoenix Suns…

The Portland Trail Blazers climbed from No. 19 to No. 15 in NBA.com's Week 2 power rankings following an undefeated 2-0 start to the season. NBA.com writer John Schuhmann highlighted Portland's starting lineup, which features Ja Morant and Damian Lillard, noting they outscored opponents by 30 points in slightly over 18 minutes.
Schuhmann designated Portland as the "team to watch" for Week 2 as they prepare for major matchups. The Blazers are scheduled to play the undefeated Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday and host the undefeated Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday before visiting Utah.
