Lazio: Gennaro Gattuso is achieving a historic feat!

Gennaro Gattuso has guided Lazio to the best start to a Serie A season in the club's history following a 2-1 victory over Parma at the Stadio Olimpico. The win earned Lazio 22 points out of an available 24 across their opening eight league matches, surpassing the record set during Sven-Göran Eriksson's tenure. Kenneth Taylor opened the scoring in the 50th minute, and a Diego Carlos own goal in the 58th minute sealed the win before Lontani scored late for Parma.

The victory lifted Lazio to the top of the Serie A standings level with Inter, having scored 16 goals while conceding only five. Despite the strong sporting form, the club faces off-field challenges as supporters maintain a boycott of the Stadio Olimpico in protest against president Claudio Lotito. Gattuso praised his squad's fitness, work rate, and mentality, highlighting the advantage of having a single game per week to balance intense training and recovery.
