Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane has won the 2026 Ballon d’Or award, finishing ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona's Lamine Yamal. Kane secured the honor for the first time in his career, becoming the first Englishman to win the prestigious trophy since Michael Owen in 2001.
Kane claimed the award following a remarkable 2025-26 campaign in which he scored 61 goals in 51 games for Bayern and helped England reach the World Cup semi-finals. Yamal, who won the Kopa Trophy for a third consecutive year, finished third in the voting behind Kane and Mbappe.
