Rangers loanee Thelo Aasgaard avoided heavy criticism from Belgian media following Anderlecht's 4-0 defeat against Gent. Despite the lopsided loss, Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad offered complimentary remarks about the Norwegian midfielder, noting his quality after he struck the crossbar in the opening minutes.
Aasgaard's temporary deal includes an option for Anderlecht to purchase him permanently. Statistical data from FotMob highlighted him as one of Anderlecht's brighter performers, recording the most touches in the opposition box, taking three shots, and creating two chances across his full 90-minute appearance.
