ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays could use some magic Tuesday night at Tropicana Field. They’ve got just the guy to make it happen.

Tampa Bay Rays franchise icon Evan Longoria will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 4 of the World Series at Tropicana Field on Tuesday. He takes the mound following appearances by former manager Joe Maddon and pitcher James Shields ahead of Game 3.
The Rays face elimination, trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 in the best-of-seven series after suffering a 10-1 defeat in Game 3. Longoria officially retired as a Ray last summer after having his No. 3 jersey retired and being inducted into the team's Hall of Fame.
