Rookie quarterback had back spasm flare up…

Cardinals coach Mike LaFleur confirmed on Monday that Jacoby Brissett will remain the starting quarterback. Rookie quarterback Carson Beck missed practice time last week due to a back spasm flare-up, though he dressed as the emergency third quarterback against the Broncos. LaFleur stated that Beck will test his movement in practice on Tuesday, while declining to confirm Beck's specific role for the upcoming game in Dallas.
LaFleur defended keeping Brissett as the starter by highlighting that the offense continues to move the ball effectively despite finishing issues. While the Cardinals converted only 1 of 10 red-zone opportunities over their last two games, LaFleur emphasized that the team ranks among the NFL leaders in goal-to-go and red-zone drives.
