ESPN's Rich Cimini shared a Darren Mougey New York Jets job security update following the Week 7 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

ESPN reporter Rich Cimini reported that New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey's job remains secure despite recent team struggles. Speaking on the Jets Collective podcast, Cimini stated that team ownership is unlikely to clean house following a defeat to the Miami Dolphins, even as pressure builds on head coach Aaron Glenn.
According to Cimini, Mougey is expected to remain in his role next season and would likely lead any potential head coaching search if Glenn were dismissed. Jets owner Woody Johnson reportedly holds Mougey in high regard, referring to the general manager as an important driving force for the franchise.
