Seven Arsenal academy players joined first-team training on Monday ahead of Tuesday's League Cup match against Fleetwood Town. The group included forwards Andre Harriman-Annous, James Scanlon, Igor Tyjon, and Ceadach O'Neill, alongside midfielders Ife Ibrahim and Theo Julienne, and left-back Marcell Washington. Youngsters Marli Salmon and Max Dowman also participated, though both are already considered regular members of the senior squad.
Manager Mikel Arteta could include selected youth players in the matchday squad to rest senior starters against the League Two side. Potential call-ups are expected to be signaled earlier on Tuesday, as Arsenal's under-21 team faces AFC Wimbledon two hours before the senior fixture kicks off.
