Real Madrid: Aurélien Tchouameni sets the record straight about his fight with Federico Valverde

Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouameni addressed his previous altercation with teammate Federico Valverde on the show The Bridge, playing down the severity of the incident. Tchouameni claimed that reports exaggerated the situation, stating that minor locker room scuffles happen everywhere but receive disproportionate media attention at Real Madrid. He also emphasized that the two players have moved on and currently maintain a good relationship.

The incident, which occurred ahead of a previous Clásico, reportedly resulted in Valverde receiving stitches and both players being fined €500,000 by the club. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez previously expressed frustration over the matter, criticizing internal sources for leaking the altercation to the public rather than keeping the dispute strictly behind closed doors.
