The Philadelphia Flyers activated defenseman Cam York from injured reserve ahead of Tuesday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. In corresponding roster moves, the Flyers placed defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen on injured reserve retroactive to October 24 and recalled forward Jacob Gaucher from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
York had missed nine games with an injury and is slated to skate on the second defensive pairing alongside Jamie Drysdale. Head coach Rick Tocchet noted that Ristolainen reaggravated an upper-body injury against Anaheim and is expected to miss approximately two weeks.
