Recalled to the Australian Test XI, Nathan Lyon won his battles with the Proteas' attacking opener and opposition captain…

Recalled to Australia's Test lineup, Nathan Lyon led a day one revival in the series decider against South Africa at Newlands in Cape Town. Captain Pat Cummins introduced the off-spinner just 11 overs into the innings, marking the earliest Lyon had bowled in a match where Australia chose to field since 2013.
Lyon claimed two vital top-order wickets, dismissing opener Marques Ackerman for 95 to break a 158-run partnership before removing South Africa captain Temba Bavuma with his very first ball to him.
