The latest Alperen Sengun injury update raises concerns for the unbeaten Rockets after an earlier incident against Dallas.

The Houston Rockets have ruled out center Alperen Sengun for Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to low back soreness. The announcement was made on the NBA's official injury report on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Sengun previously showed signs of back discomfort during Houston's season opener against the Dallas Mavericks, though the team has not established an official timetable for his return.
Sengun has led the unbeaten 4-0 Rockets by averaging 24.5 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists through the opening four games. With backup center Steven Adams also sidelined by a right soleus strain, head coach Ime Udoka will have to adjust his rotation, potentially utilizing Clint Capela or small-ball lineups featuring Jabari Smith Jr.
