The Houston Rockets improved to 4-0 on the season following a 120-110 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. After trailing by three points at halftime, Houston took control in the third quarter behind strong defense and key contributions from Alperen Sengun and Reed Sheppard. The win handed Atlanta their first loss of the season and marked Houston's best regular-season start in over a decade.
Following the game, head coach Ime Udoka, Kevin Durant, and Sengun reflected on the team's strong start. Durant emphasized the impact of his defense and praised Sengun, while Sengun credited his early-season success to being fresh and adopting a special diet. Udoka also noted that Marcus Smart could return Wednesday, while Steven Adams remains sidelined.
