The Washington Capitals welcomed Bravo, a 13-week-old service dog in training, to their practice session at MedStar Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia, on Tuesday. Trained through America’s VetDogs, Bravo met with players as they stepped off the ice and brought along his own custom trading cards.
Bravo is participating in team sponsor CACI’s Good Dogs for Great Americans program. He will train locally in Virginia for about a year before completing his preparation and being matched with a military veteran or first responder.
