The Browns released a running back to make room for a reunion with a pass-rusher.

The Cleveland Browns announced on Tuesday that they have released running back Jaret Patterson from their practice squad and re-signed defensive end Nadame Tucker. Cleveland also released safety John Saunders as part of a series of roster adjustments. Patterson spent under three weeks with the organization after initially signing on October 7.
Patterson's departure followed the return of running back Dylan Sampson from injured reserve ahead of Cleveland's 27-24 victory against the Tennessee Titans. Meanwhile, Tucker returns to the Browns' practice squad just six days after being released, bringing recent college pass-rushing production from Western Michigan.
