Former Red Bull motorsport adviser Helmut Marko has become an investor in Lebensstimmen GmbH, an Austrian artificial intelligence start-up. The Graz-based company, operating internationally as Words That Remain, provides a digital platform enabling individuals to record or write personal messages that are delivered to loved ones following their death. Marko was announced as a backer during a launch event held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Vienna on October 20.
The 83-year-old stepped down from Red Bull at the end of last season after more than two decades with the team. Founded by Philipp Berkessy, Markus Pinter, and Lukas Stern, the start-up also features an AI eulogist tool developed with cathedral pastor Toni Faber. The company plans to launch its platform fully in Austria and internationally in the first quarter of 2027.
