Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will miss up to two months after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The 25-year-old guard was off to a strong start in the 2026-27 season, including a 47-point performance in an overtime win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Edwards' absence leaves Minnesota without their primary scorer after helping lead the team to a 3-1 record alongside offseason acquisition LaMelo Ball. The injury will also sideline Edwards for three upcoming matchups against the Portland Trail Blazers scheduled in November and December.
