Rob Gronkowski won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, and he still says leaving them was the best move of his career. Patriots fans may not love the reasoning. The former tight end looked back on his move…

Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski stated on Craig Melvin’s “Glass Half Full” podcast that joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the best move of his career. Despite winning three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, Gronkowski confirmed he has no regrets about unretiring in 2020 to reunite with quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.
Gronkowski noted that along with joining Brady, he chose Tampa Bay to avoid AFC East rivals and to live closer to his mother. He helped the Buccaneers win Super Bowl LV with two touchdowns before retiring for a second time in June 2022.
