Tottenham icon Robbie Keane among candidates to replace ‘this’ PL manager at a London club

Crystal Palace are considering Tottenham Hotspur legend Robbie Keane as a possible replacement for manager Pierre Sage. Sage is under severe pressure following a poor start to the season, with Palace sitting 17th in the Premier League after losing 2-0 to Newcastle United at Selhurst Park. The Eagles have won just two of their opening eight league fixtures and have conceded a division-high 19 goals.

Keane, who has been out of work since leaving Ferencváros in May, is reportedly an outsider on a shortlist that also features Sean Dyche, Thomas Frank, and Vitor Pereira. Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish will make the ultimate managerial decision, while Sage insists he still maintains the backing of his squad.
