A viral rendering posted by Jersey Nerds has reportedly leaked the design of the Washington Capitals' upcoming Hometown Remix jersey. The leaked image features a blue jersey with a retro Capitol Dome crest, bronze-and-black striping, marble-textured white accents, and Screaming Eagle shoulder patches.
A league source confirmed to RMNB that the rendering is largely accurate, though the marble texture is more pronounced and the numbers differ from the finished product. The NHL's Fanatics-driven alternate jersey program is expected to launch in early November.
