Bengals star Evan McPherson makes big leap in latest FanSided kicker rankings

Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson has climbed to No. 7 in the latest FanSided kicker rankings compiled by Adam Fromal, rising from the 12th spot entering the 2026 season. The jump comes as McPherson remains perfect on all 10 field goal attempts and all PATs through the early part of the campaign, including five conversions from 50 yards or beyond.

Fromal's data-driven Kick Value Added metric ranks McPherson fourth in the league, though Fromal notes he needs to sustain this consistency given past year-over-year struggles. Writer Matt Fitzgerald highlights that McPherson rebounded from a difficult 2024 season to convert 89.3% of field goals in 2025, also crediting holder Ryan Rehkow and long snapper William Wagner for their contributions.
