Indian fast bowler Prasidh Krishna faces an uncertain race against time to feature in the five-match ODI series against New Zealand beginning November 4. Krishna is undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru following a left hamstring injury suffered against the West Indies. He is scheduled for crucial match simulations on November 1 and 2 to evaluate his readiness.
Krishna was originally included for the first three ODIs, which will be followed by a two-match Test series. If he fails to regain fitness, India may select Auqib Nabi, Yash Thakur, or Gurnoor Brar as potential pace replacements.
