Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and is expected to miss up to two months. A source speaking to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity revealed the plan ahead of any official team announcement, with a precise return timetable to be determined following surgery.
Edwards had started the season in historic form, averaging 33.3 points across Minnesota's opening four games, including a franchise-record 133 points total. A two-month absence could sideline Edwards for approximately 25 games, jeopardizing his eligibility for major postseason NBA awards under the league's 65-game threshold.
