Hart's energy can make any opponent who walks in his path uncomfortable. It showed against the Pistons.

Josh Hart provided an energetic two-way performance to help lead the New York Knicks to their first victory of the season, defeating the Detroit Pistons 111-97 at Madison Square Garden. Despite attempting just two shots all game and finishing with six points, four rebounds, four assists, and five steals, Hart's hustle sparked New York after an 0-3 start to the campaign.
The Knicks took control during a dominant third quarter, outscoring Detroit 37-13 to overcome an early deficit. Karl-Anthony Towns anchored the second half with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Mikal Bridges added four 3-pointers and strong perimeter defense alongside Hart's versatile defensive effort.
