Following a Game 7 ALCS elimination by Toronto, the Seattle Mariners are preparing for crucial roster decisions ahead of the next season. Manager Dan Wilson and president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto addressed the season's end, highlighting the team's first AL West title since 2001 and catcher Cal Raleigh's historic 60-home run campaign.

Seattle now faces key free agency dilemmas involving trade deadline acquisitions Josh Naylor and Eugenio Suárez. Dipoto identified re-signing Naylor at first base as a major priority, while third base could potentially be handed to rookie Ben Williamson if Suárez departs. Second baseman Jorge Polanco also faces an uncertain future regarding his $6 million player option.
