The New York Giants missed out on Quenton Nelson, who was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.

The Seattle Seahawks acquired All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts in a permanent trade, per Adam Schefter. Indianapolis received a 2027 third-round draft pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick in exchange for the 30-year-old offensive lineman, who is playing on an expiring contract.
Writer Michael Haney of GMEN HQ argues that the New York Giants missed a crucial opportunity to upgrade their offensive line by failing to pursue Nelson. Haney suggests the Giants should instead monitor other potential Colts trade targets, including Jonathan Taylor, DeForest Buckner, and Grover Stewart.
