Utah Jazz forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to miss six to eight weeks after suffering a torn MCL in his right knee, according to ESPN reports. The injury occurred during a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies when Ty Jerome fell into Jackson's knee. Although he will not require surgery, Jackson faces another extended sideline stint after playing just four games this season.
The injury adds to mounting frontcourt troubles for the 1-3 Jazz, who also saw Lauri Markkanen exit Monday's contest with a wrist injury. With Jusuf Nurkic and Jaxson Hayes already nursing injuries, Utah is expected to rely on Mo Bamba and Tony Bradley for additional minutes.
