Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford stills looks and sounds like a guy who wants to compete.

Bret Stuter argues that 38-year-old quarterback Matthew Stafford does not appear ready to retire from the Los Angeles Rams at the end of the season. Highlighting comments from Stafford on The Pat McAfee Show regarding his strong working relationship with head coach Sean McVay, Stuter asserts that the veteran still possesses the competitive drive to continue playing in the NFL.
Stafford recently set the Rams' franchise record for passing touchdowns and is pursuing Jim Everett's franchise passing yards record. Through the current season, Stafford has recorded nearly 2,000 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions, potentially delaying backup quarterback Ty Simpson's path to a starting role.
