The CIES Football Observatory has been assessing Birmingham City's transfer numbers…

Birmingham City have generated an added transfer value of €46m (£38.5m), according to analysis by the CIES Football Observatory. The calculations, which assess transfer fees paid and received since 2021 alongside current squad valuations, place Blues 24th in England and ninth among Championship clubs.
CIES figures indicate Birmingham lost €13m (£10.8m) on departed players but hold €59m (£49.4m) in estimated value among retained squad members. Writer Brian Dick notes that free transfers like Phil Neumann and major signings such as August Priske and Jhon Solis likely boosted the club's financial valuation.
