Chelsea are monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi ahead of a potential permanent move, according to a report from TEAMtalk. Scouts representing the Premier League club were present at the Jan Breydel Stadium to watch the 22-year-old forward score a hat-trick against Sint-Truiden. Chelsea are evaluating attacking reinforcements following concerns over squad depth and an injury to Joao Pedro.
The Italian-German striker has scored 12 goals in 14 matches across all competitions this season and holds an estimated market valuation of £29m. Chelsea reportedly face competition from Manchester City, who have earmarked Tresoldi as a potential option should Erling Haaland leave the Etihad Stadium.
