Raiders Linked to WR Who Just Requested a Trade

The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly among the teams interested in acquiring Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs following his trade request. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported that Downs officially requested to be moved, coming shortly after Indianapolis traded away veterans Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner. Downs has emerged as a popular target across the league for franchises seeking wide receiver depth before the trade deadline.

Writer Austin Boyd notes that Downs' skill set overlaps with current Raiders receiver Tre Tucker, as both rely heavily on speed. While Indianapolis could face substantial competition for the receiver's services, Downs stated that his immediate focus remains on preparing for the Colts' upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars despite seeking a fresh start elsewhere.
