Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to back tightness. The absence comes on the second night of a back-to-back following the Lakers' 136-129 defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, which was their first loss of the season.
Doncic leads the NBA in scoring with 36 points per game, having recorded 41 points against Portland and 52 points against the Utah Jazz on Sunday. The Lakers are also missing Ziaire Williams, Cameron Carr, and Adou Thiero, while the Clippers will be without Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura, Brandon Ingram, and several other rotational players.
