You know what sucks about NBA scheduling? And stop me if you’ve heard me complain about NBA scheduling before… The Suns played Monday night, and they don’t play again until Friday against the Denver Nuggets. By the time that date…

John Voita of Bright Side Of The Sun argues that the Phoenix Suns' revamped roster construction is severely hindering Devin Booker. Following a three-point performance by Booker on 1-of-7 shooting in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Voita contends that while the franchise guard deserves criticism for his scoring output, the team lacks the surrounding shooting and cohesion necessary to ease defensive pressure.
The analysis points to new additions Jalen Green and Miles Bridges as poor schematic fits alongside Booker, citing defensive lapses and inconsistent three-point shooting. Along with Dillon Brooks, the trio shot just 6-of-23 from deep against Oklahoma City. Voita concludes that Phoenix's front office, coaching staff, and supporting cast must improve spacing and defense rather than expecting Booker to carry the team single-handedly.
