Manchester United and City are bitter rivals but that has not stopped a few players representing both with one former star explaining his reasons for making such a move…

Carlos Tevez revealed that he joined Manchester City as a form of revenge against Manchester United after feeling let down by Sir Alex Ferguson. Speaking to Rio Ferdinand on the Rio Ferdinand Presents channel, the Argentine forward explained that despite enjoying his time at Old Trafford, he felt the club failed to reciprocate what he gave during his two-year spell.
Tevez stated that Ferguson promised to make his initial two-year loan move permanent before signing Dimitar Berbatov. However, Tevez claimed the manager broke his word and benched him in an attempt to drive down his valuation, ultimately prompting his cross-town switch to Manchester City.
