Oklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams underwent successful surgery on Wednesday to repair a fractured left fibula and dislocated ankle. According to a team press release, the procedure included the reconstruction of ankle ligaments. Williams will be re-evaluated after the conclusion of the 2026-27 regular season.
Williams sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Clippers and was stretchered off the floor. His absence compounds Oklahoma City's injury concerns, with guard Cason Wallace also sidelined indefinitely due to a torn labrum.
